My name's Pete, and I'm not the fittest person in the world. Somehow, though, I've found myself preparing for a 10K run in May, 2011.

This blog previously charted my various fitness activities as a means of self-motivation. Now, it's going to chart my training for this event, and beyond.

Marginally slower than last time tonight, but then it was night-time, cold and starting to rain. So there.

I swear the iPod’s shuffle facility is aware of what time it is and serves up time-appropriate music. As such, tonight’s run was accompanied by a variety of moody tracks, with only a couple of upbeat ones. One notable one, though, was from the OCRemix album of Doom II remixes. I think it was called Countdown or something. It was a badass piece of music, whatever it was.

The piece that plays in the last month of Persona 4, though? Bit creepy for running at night-time… thankfully it’s short.

My trousers kept falling down in the early part of that run. Either that’s a good sign, or a sign that I had too much stuff in my pockets.
