Gym

Strange few weeks so gym had kind of fallen a bit by the wayside. Went with Jane again today though and did my usual programme, accompanied by podcast fun.

It’s very hot today. Fortunately the gym is air conditioned, but the entrance to the building it and the swimming pool are in is not, meaning that you walk in the door and are immediately hit with a wave of heat and the stench of chlorine from the pool. If you can get through that without retching, the gym was actually reasonably pleasant, and pretty quiet for a bank holiday. No-one seems to go at the times I would have thought would be busiest.
